Welcome, and thanks for stopping by. This website is run by Jacksonville Deck Builders, a brand of Coastal Outdoor Construction. We build and replace decks across Jacksonville and Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, and Clay counties in Northeast Florida. We have been building since 2013 as an FL-licensed general contractor, fully insured, and we hold a 4.9-star rating on 70 Google reviews.
These Terms of Service are the plain-English rules for using this website and for requesting a quote from us. By using the site, you agree to these terms. We have kept the legalese to a minimum so you can actually read it. If anything below is unclear, call us at (904) 944-9253 and we will walk you through it.
You are welcome to browse this site, read our guides, and request a quote. In return, we ask that you use it fairly and honestly. Please do not:
That is really all we ask. Use the site the way a homeowner planning a deck would, and you are good.
When you fill out a form on this site or call us, you are asking us to get in touch about a possible deck project. That is it. Submitting the form does not create a contract, and it does not commit you to anything or commit us to a price.
Your in-home estimate is free, and there is no obligation that comes with it. A real, fixed-price number comes later, in a written quote, after we have looked at your project. Nothing on this website, and nothing in a form confirmation, locks in a price or a deal. A project only becomes an agreement once both sides sign a written contract.
If you decide to build with us, the actual work, scope, materials, schedule, price, payment, and warranty terms all live in the separate written contract you sign for your project. That signed agreement is the document that controls your build.
If anything on this website ever seems to differ from your signed contract, your signed contract is what counts. The website is here to inform and help you plan; your contract is the real, binding agreement for the work we do.
Any prices, per-square-foot ranges, or sample costs on this site are illustrative estimates to help you plan, not a guarantee of your price. For example, you may see ranges like composite decking around $15–$40 per square foot installed, pressure-treated wood around $10–$20 per square foot, cedar around $20–$30 per square foot, or a 12x12 deck commonly running around $3,200–$8,400 depending on material.
Your real cost depends on your design, materials, site conditions, permits, and other details, and it is confirmed only in your written quote. We build with quality materials, including Trex, MoistureShield, and AZEK composite and PVC, plus Ipe and cedar as hardwood deck flooring. Performance notes are general guidance too; for instance, AZEK can run about 30 degrees cooler underfoot than a dark composite, but real-world results depend on color, sun, and conditions. Treat every figure on this site as a planning estimate that is subject to change.
We design and build new decks and outdoor living spaces, and we handle full deck replacement, including removing and hauling away your old deck. Our service is new builds and full replacement. We do not offer ongoing deck repair, restaining, refinishing, or maintenance of an existing deck.
You may see us talk through whether it makes more sense to repair or replace an aging deck — that is a normal homeowner decision, and we are glad to help you think it through. When you move forward with us, the service we provide is a new build or a full replacement, engineered to Florida’s 130–150 mph wind codes with hurricane-rated metal connectors and concrete footings, built by our experienced in-house crew.

We work hard to keep the information on this site accurate and helpful, but we provide the website "as is." We do not promise that every figure, guide, or page is complete, current, or error-free, and the site may occasionally be unavailable or change without notice.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Jacksonville Deck Builders and Coastal Outdoor Construction are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that come from using, or being unable to use, this website or the information on it. This section is about the website. It does not limit, change, or replace any rights, warranties, or obligations in the signed contract for your project — those are governed entirely by that contract.
This site may link to other websites, such as material manufacturers or our Google reviews, for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Following a link to another site is at your own discretion, and that site’s own terms and policies will apply once you leave ours.
These Terms of Service, and any matter arising from your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This makes sense for us, since we are a Florida company building decks for Florida homeowners.
If a disagreement ever comes up about this website or these terms, our first step is simple: let’s talk. We ask that you contact us at (904) 944-9253 or info@pinnacletechnologies.ai so we can work it out in good faith. Most issues can be solved with a straightforward conversation.
If we genuinely cannot resolve it that way, any remaining dispute will be settled by binding arbitration rather than in court, administered under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) before a single arbitrator. The arbitration will take place in Duval County, Florida. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding, and by agreeing to these terms, both sides give up the right to a jury trial for these matters. Nothing here prevents either side from seeking relief in small-claims court where that is available.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time as our website changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after we make changes, that means you accept the updated terms. It is a good idea to check back now and then.
If anything here is unclear, or you simply want to talk about your deck project, we are glad to help.
